Responsibilities of the position:

- Checking patients in and out
- Verifying and submitting insurance claims
- Preparing chart and confirming appointment times
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Collecting copays, handling financial transactions, and reconciling cash drawer
- Performing office tours and other specific tasks
- Learning and understanding medical codes
- For the greater good of the team and patients

Requirements of the position:

- High school diploma
- Coachable (Be able to accept constructive criticism)
- Outgoing and able to build relationships
- Strong work ethic
- Strong telephone and communication skills
- Professionalism
- Must be willing to travel to the Connersville office

*4 day work week! NO WEEKENDS!*

Monday 8:10-7:30
Tuesday 8:10-6:10
Wednesday 8:00-5:20 (Connersville)
Thursday 8:10-5:30
One hour lunch break from 12-1

Training will be performed in Connersville for the first 90 days

- Frame selection and repair
- Checking in frame and lenses
- Contact lens insertion and removal training
- Verifying and submitting insurance claims
- Calculating frame and lens costs for the patient
- Cross-training into other positions
